Our company manufactures a wide range of additional weights for balancing axles and improving the traction of machinery:
1. Front counterweights (ballast weights)
These are fitted to the front hitch of the machinery to counterbalance the weight of heavy attachments (ploughs, seed drills) and prevent the machine from tipping over.
- 50 kg front counterweight: Nominal weight 50 kg, material: SC 20.
- Front counterweight, 100 kg: A specialised lightweight section with an actual casting weight of 18.7 kg, made from SC 20 cast iron.
- Front counterweight, 45 kg: A compact ballast plate weighing 45 kg, made of SC 20 cast iron.
- Front counterweight, 55 kg: Reinforced front counterweight weighing 55 kg (made of SC 20).
2. Wheel weights (weights on the wheels)
They are fitted directly onto the wheel rims to lower the centre of gravity, reduce wheel spin and increase the vehicle’s tractive effort.
- Wheel counterweight (sectional): It is manufactured from grey cast iron to the customer’s specific technical specifications.
- 65 kg wheeled counterweight: A reliable 65 kg disc-type ballast made from SC 20 cast iron.
